Thanks giving is always a gesture to honor when exceptional results are received. Thus, Fountain Schools, Kericho held its annual ceremony on Friday 10th January 2020.

Candidates who completed the KCPE Examinations for the year 2019 graced the occasion with delight and excitement.

The institution has enjoyed good results over the years through instilling good values and preparing them for the final year examinations, Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. Having scored a mean grade of 373.35 the school was delighted to host a thanksgiving ceremony for the students who performed very well.
The ceremony which took place at the playground, was attended by the school directors, parents, students, alumni, members of staff, teachers, local residents and invited guests.
The school function started with the analysis of the results of Year 2019 with the school administration congratulating the candidates who scored remarkable marks, cheering them to keep working hard and setting their eyes on the prize.

The Ceremony

The School moto Love, Hope and Faith was thoroughly emphasized throughout the ceremony. The Chief Guest would go on and on about how Education is very important in the foundation of a good career and also highlighted how talent needs to superseded by a good education. An Education opens up the mind allowing one to thing big and solve critical problems facing mankind. He motivated them to Keep God First and work hard, setting achievable goals to advance to University, getting to choose competitive courses such as Medicine and Law.

Student Alumnus were able to give a word of encouragement to the students who were preparing to take the same path as theirs, furthering their Education in High School. They did not fail to highlight the demands of the Secondary and University levels of education, irregardless they should journey on and focus.

Candidates who had scored good marks were identified and given presents by the chief guest with the assistance of the school administration. The look on their faces showed happiness and content having worked hard achieving good results.
From singing of the hymns, giving thanks to God through a sermon to prize giving ceremony, Thanksgiving Day was a success.

Results Analysis

From the analysis of the 2019 KCPE Results of Fountain Schools, Kericho, the subjects that emerged top were Mathematics and English each scoring a mean grade of 76.94 and 75.52 respectively followed by Kiswahili, Social studies & CRE and lastly Science.

The school is proud of the achievements of the class of 2019.
